Amanda McLellan

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Amanda attended DePauw University, where she studied Art History and was a member of the Information Technology Associates Program (ITAP). After working as a web administrator as a year-long internship, she moved to Illinois to obtain her Masters of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois.

Amanda worked in academic libraries in Virginia for eight years before moving to North Carolina in 2016, where she is the Head of Application & Digital Services for East Carolina University‘s Joyner Library. She is a member of the Greenville Noon Rotary Club and currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership at ECU.

Amanda taught Introduction to Technology for Library and Information Science online for the University of Illinois’s Graduate School of Library and Information Science from 2012 – 2018.

Amanda is married, is the furmom of a dog and four cats, and in her spare time enjoys baking, visiting museums, and going to concerts.
